Spring and Summer 2010 saw Pathways to Education host a series of campus visits to UCC for parents of 6th class primary school pupils. Over 200 parents partook in the visits, which were held with a view to demystifying 3rd level education. With the support of Olive Byrne, Programme Manager UCC PLUS+ and the UCC PLUS+ team, the visits focused on the transition from primary to post primary education and on providing an introduction to the educational opportunities available at second and third level education.
