Assistive Technology Disability Project
Increase access to higher education for more students with a range of disabilities by working with the wider educational and special needs sector to promote the use of Assistive Technology. This will be achieved this byestablishing close working links with existing Disability Support Services in CIT and UCC, and special educational needs sector.
Key Activities
- Establish working group with relevant stakeholders, CIT and UCC
- Engage with students with special needs who would benefit
- Develop an awareness programme
- Engage with relevant stakeholders in schools and relevant bodies
- Develop Assistive Technology (AT) assessments and training
- Dissemination of reports and newsletters
